Full Time Driver

FULL TIME DRIVER POSITION
With more than 25 years in the passenger transportation business, Boston Common Coach is seeking a dependable person who is very familiar with the Boston area, enjoys working with the public and strives to provide excellent customer service.

Objective:
Your main objective is to safely and efficiently transport passengers via motor coach for local and long distance. Must be flexible for occasional overnights (within 10-hour driving distance to include and not limited to NY, Canada and Washington DC). Drivers average 30-70 hours per week. (An assessment period of 3 month will be instituted).

Overview:

  • Work assigned by Friday for the upcoming week

  • Get paid for hours worked. Year round employment with minimum 40 hours compensation per week (must be available and flexible six days a week weekends and holidays)

Compensation:

  • Compensation starts at $25/hour plus a minimum of $500 /month guaranteed,  tips and benefits.

  • Minimum 5 hours pay regardless of the charter length

  • Minimum 10 hours for overnight trips (for charters starting before 12 noon)

  • Paid weekly, direct deposit available.

Requirements:
Must have a CDL B License with Passenger and air brakes endorsements, clean driving record and a minimum of one year experience driving a motor coach.
Benefits:

  • Medical contribution - up to $400 per month

  • Paid vacations: One week paid vacation after the completion of each of the first two full years of employment and two weeks paid vacation after 3+ years.

  • $50 per day food allowance for overnight trips

  • Paid tips (taxable) on all charters

  • Automatic 7% (taxable) tips collected in advance for overnight charters

  • Uniform provided

  • Referral bonuses

  • Annual performance bonus

  • IRA retirement account with company contribution

  • $25 for every customer documented compliment

  • $250 extra for 10 compliments (No accidents recorded for the year)

MECHCANICS

Part Time Mechanic

DIESEL AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR TECHNICIAN - FOXBORO, MA 
Now hiring a d
iesel automotive repair technician needed to work on coach buses.  Unsupervised but monitored. Easy work environment. Currently running Detroit Diesel EPA 07 and EPA10 with after treatment systems. Expected to adapt to pressure as needed.

New building, heated high ceiling located at 11 Spring Brook Road, Foxboro MA 02035. Tools of your own can be used or tools can be provided.

Schedule:

  • Part time year round, Mondays and Tuesdays (possibly other days on demand)

Compensation:

  • $50/hr, 16+ hours a week 

Responsibilities (to include, but not limited to):

  • General vehicle maintenance

  • A/C diagnostics and repair

  • Brakes

  • Engine diagnostics and repair

  • Automatic transmission maintenance

  • Engine/Transmission replacement

  • Electrical diagnosis and repair

  • Preventive maintenance

  • Documenting PM and repairs to satisfy DOT requirements

  • Work with/supervise cleaner

  • Occasional bus cleaning using automated wash machine

  • Following are a plus:

  • Paint/body work

  • CDL Class B with Air Brakes Endorsement

ADMINSTRATIVE

Part Time Office Administrator/Manager

PART TIME OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR/MANAGER - FOXBORO
Now hiring a highly organized administrator/office manager to help manage our company's charter transportation services. The ideal candidate will be competent
in prioritizing and working with little supervision, self-motivated and trustworthy. The office administrator/manager will ensure smooth running of our company’s
office in Foxboro and contribute in driving sustainable growth.

Objective:
To ensure success as a transport administrator, you should exhibit extensive knowledge of transportation service operations and administrative experience in a
similar industry. An accomplished transport administrator will be someone whose expertise results in cost-effective and efficient transportation services

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 2:00PM, in person (can be flexible with time/place) with a possibility of full time employment in 6 months, performance based

Compensation:

  • $25/hour to start and $2,000 year end bonus with potential of full time employment

Responsibilities (to include, but not limited to):

  • Correspond with clients via telephone and email

  • Give quotes by phone or email

  • Driver Qualification file maintenance

  • Interact/train drivers

  • Complying to transportation regulations and company policies.

  • Coordinate activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies

  • General administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, invoicing

  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures. Managing budgets, as well as processing purchase orders and payments.

  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data

  • Scheduling transportation services, planning routes, and assigning drivers. Preparing schedules, as well as tracking and reporting progress with orders.

  • Developing and implementing improved transportation administration policies and procedures.

  • Monitoring drivers' logbook entries and performing payroll administration.

  • Liaising between managers and drivers, as well as collaborating with other departments to optimize transportation services.

  • Handling customer queries and escalating serious complaints to management.
